The LearnSpanishFromHome.com (herein referred to as LSFH) website and its sister site TeachSpanishFromHome.com (herein referred to as TSFH) are a business owned by CanMex Incorporated, located in British Columbia, Canada.

• The LearnSpanishfromHome.com website was created to allow students to view tutor information (number of classes given, teacher rating based on student feedback, details of teaching experience, video and/or picture of the tutor, teacher e-mail and skype username) in order to select a tutor with whom to engage in online tutoring  for the purposing of learning or practicing Spanish. The website facilitates the process of connecting learners with Spanish tutors as well as facilitating the payment process for such tutorial sessions. TeachSpanishfromHome.com allows teacher/tutors to register and become a teaching member of LearnSpanishfromHome.com.
• Although LearnSpanishfromHome.com has taken reasonable precautionsto secure the information of both students and tutors, LearnSpanishfromHome.com will not be held liable for unauthorized access to its databases.
• LearnSpanishfromHome.com reviews the tutor’s credentials however it does not guarantee the accuracy of the tutor’s claims.

Obligations of the Online Tutor (registered member of LSFH):

• The tutor is at least 18 years of age.
• The tutor has the necessary qualifications and/or experience to provide the appropriate tutoring services.
• The tutor has submitted a valid contact e-mail and verifiable references.
• The tutor agrees to allow employees of LSFH to verify references or previous employment records if deemed appropriate by LSFH.
• The tutor indemnifies LSFH from all claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses (actual or consequential) of every kind and nature known or unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out the use of LSFH.
• The tutor accepts payment at the rate of $20.00 US dollars per 45 minutes class which shall be deposited into the tutor’s PayPal account within 72 hours of giving the class.
• The tutor accepts that the rate and date of payment is subject to change at any time at the discretion of LSFH.
• Under no circumstances will a tutor accept payment for tutoring services directly or indirectly from a student. Tutors agree to receive payment from LSFH.
• A tutor will not seek to tutor independently a student whose services were obtained through LSFH.
• A tutor is not an employee of LSFH and accepts full responsibility for the payment of any taxes and other payables in relation to the fees generated from tutorial services given through LSFH.
• A tutor will not give out any identifying information such as addresses, phone numbers, or any other contact information other than what is given on the TeachSpanishfromHome.com website in order to arrange tutoring services with the student.
• A tutor accepts that a student may cancel a session at any time without notice and without liability.
• A tutor shall not seek to recover from LSFH any payment that was not made by the student. LSFH will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the non-paying students lose their membership for unreasonable complaints.
• A tutor shall always conduct himself professionally and responsibly while engaging in an online tutoring session with a student obtained via LSFH
• A tutor is responsible for all the information he publishes to the TeachSpanishfromHome.com website and will not hold LSFH liable for any damages incurred as result of the information provided.
• A tutor must treat all LSFH students with respect and shall be not personally or verbally abusive to a student.
• Failure to comply with any of the above terms and conditions will result in immediate termination of the membership with LSFH.
